Custom-tailored in an eloquent mountain contemporary style by CollinsWoerman’s lead architect, John Eckert, the new 5 Needles residences have become a delightful success story.
And now, thanks to the design wizardry of Sandpoint’s Base Camp Design, the interiors of the 5 Needles homes are equally as unique, fresh and imaginatively fashioned as the exterior.
To make each owner’s move-in as effortless as possible, the design firm has created three distinctive furnishings, finishes and fixtures packages. These packages are quite
comprehensive. They can cover everything including the proverbial kitchen sink: flooring, plumbing fixtures, countertops and cabinets, closets, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, lighting, window coverings, and furniture ranging from beds, chairs and tables to couches and island bar seating, even artwork and accessories.
For a totally turn-key home, Base Camp will even supply home goods such as kitchen utensils, coffee makers and bedding. Devising unique places like remote working stations, exercise rooms and kids’ play areas is also part of their service.
The Sawmill collection pieces focus on performance base fabrics that are intended for Schweitzer’s rental program.
“Our goal is
to create an interior that is
an extension
of the owner’s personal tastes and desires and also appeals to their hospitality clientele,” says Kate Lyster, Base Camp Design’s owner. “We bring their home to life.”
The Splitter collection is a hybrid for those who will be utilizing their homes as well as the rental program.
The Skyline collection is a luxury offering for owners that want to be a little more fashion forward.
“We have relationships with Sandpoint area craftsmen, contractors and installers, so we have the clout
to get things done,” adds lead designer Carolyn Jordan. “We make the design and selection process not overwhelming, but actually enjoyable.”
As a full service, professional interior design company, Base Camp Design can easily accommodate a client’s wish for customized plans. Clients can have a completely custom home developed from scratch, or they can choose their own items or even have pieces such as bunk beds custom-crafted by a cadre of talented associates.
